Creator Camera Cage Kit For Sony FX5

Made from CNC-machined aluminum, the Creator Camera Cage for Sony FX5 protects the camera while expanding its functionality. The camera is securely attached to the cage with a 1/4-20 screw, ensuring a rigid connection suitable for professional productions. The cage features a versatile range of 1/4-20 and 3/8-16 threaded mounting holes with ARRI-style anti-twist patterns, allowing various accessories such as external monitors, magic arms, or wireless systems to be mounted. A side NATO rail enables quick, tool-free attachment of compatible handles, clamps, and other NATO accessories. An integrated cold shoe receiver on top allows microphones, wireless receivers, or compact lights to be mounted, while an HDMI locking system secures the HDMI cable connection and helps prevent signal loss during filming.

At the base, an ARCA Swiss quick-release plate allows smooth transitions between gimbal, tripod, and handheld configurations without requiring an additional adapter. Installed on the right side of the cage, it can be combined with its baseplate for 9x16 vertical shooting. The cage design provides full access to the camera controls, input/output ports, memory card slot, and battery compartment. All original camera functions, including the top handle and accessory ports, remain accessible when the camera is mounted in the cage.

The SHAPE Creator Top Handle, featuring a NATO clamp, provides a secure grip and multiple mounting options through its 1/4-20 and 3/8-16 threaded holes, including an ARRI-style anti-twist pattern. A push-release system allows accessories to be attached to the front cold shoe, while a 15 mm rod clamp enables the mounting of monitors or microphone systems. The handle features a padded rubber section for a comfortable, non-slip grip. The cage is fully compatible with the DJI RS3 gimbal system, providing a balance of protection, expandability, and workflow efficiency for professional filmmakers.
