Overview
The SHAPE DSLR Kirk Neff Rig is a shoulder-mount system centered around the DSLR Kirk Neff Baseplate 2.0, designed to support DSLR and compact cameras with a 15 mm rod setup.
Components and Expandability
The rig includes dual handgrips with push-button adjustment, a mini composite shoulder pad with back pad, and a pair of 18-inch 15 mm rods. It can be expanded with optional accessories such as a matte box and follow focus.
Mounting and Compatibility
The shoulder pad and handgrips are removable for tripod mounting. The camera attaches via a V-lock quick-release plate compatible with third-party V-lock support systems. The baseplate clamps support one rod pair for mounting handgrips and rod offset brackets.
