The Canon C50 Cage is crafted from CNC-machined aluminum, providing robust protection while allowing for camera functionality expansion. It securely mounts the Canon C50 with a 1/4-20 screw to ensure a stable connection for professional use.
The cage includes numerous 1/4-20 and 3/8-16 threaded holes with anti-twist ARRI-style locating patterns, a NATO rail side design for tool-free accessory attachment, and a built-in cold shoe receiver for microphones, wireless receivers, or compact lights.
An integrated HDMI lock system secures cable connections to prevent accidental disconnections, while the ARCA Swiss quick-release plate at the base allows easy transitioning between gimbal, tripod, and handheld setups, including a 9x16 shooting configuration.
The cage design maintains full access to all camera controls, ports, memory card slot, and battery compartment, ensuring all original functions, including the top handle and accessory ports, remain fully operational when the camera is mounted.
