Compatibility and Purpose

The SHAPE Shim Plate is designed for use with RED® DSMC2 cameras, including Monstro, Helium, Gemini, Epic, Scarlet, Raven, and Dragon models, to ensure proper lens center to rod center height on ARRI standard bridge plates.

Construction and Design

Manufactured from precision-machined aluminum, the shim plate includes five threaded camera mounting holes and two captive tie-down screws to provide secure and versatile mounting options.

Protection and Stability

Equipped with four rubber pads, the shim plate cushions the camera to prevent metal-to-metal contact and maintain the correct elevation, supporting accessories such as follow focus units and matte boxes.
